you live to city hall for the latest. >>> good morning to you. thanks for being with us. i'll marla tellez. >> i'm jon kelley. we begin with the news in the south bay. an all out manhunt in san jose. at this hour, one man is in custody and a $20,000 reward offered for information leading to the arrest of a second suspect. this following four robberies and homicide and officer-involved shooting. bob redell is live at city waha with the latest information after being briefed. quite a situation. >> reporter: along with the mayor's office. good morning, jon. the mayor's office has just upped the reward looking for the second man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of two police officers and the murder of an innocent civilian. police have also just released a sketch of the second suspect who is right now considered to be san jose's public enemy number one. to put an exclamation point on this. the assistant police chief along with mayor chuck reed and the city council participated in the joint news conference that ended an hour ago. the mayor will contribute $10,000 from his bu
the purchase of a british company. we will have all of the details. good morning. thanks for being with us. i am marla tellez. >> i'm jon kelley. hp hitting investors with shock treatment claiming it was a victim of financial fraud. it says it was fooled into buying a british company last year which was a mistake for $11 billion. according to scott mcgrew, it was the not just a mistake, but a disaster. you have had a couple of hours to digest it. how ugly is it? >> it will be talked about in business schools for years. it will be hard to imagine that if these allegations are true, there will not be some sort of criminal charges. during a routine financial flying, hp said the company it bought last fall deliberately hid how much profit and someone cooked the books. it is an incredibly serious allegation. hp has launched an investigation of what it calls forensic accounting and notified the u.s. government. >> we believe there is a willful effort on the part of autonomy management to mislead shareholders and mislead potential buyers, including hp. we stand by the review that we have seen. as yo
morning. thanks for being with us. i'm marla tellez. >> i'm jon kelley. we will have more on the cease-fire agreement coming up in a few moments. first, new out of the south bay. a deadly hit-and-run in east san jose has police at this hour searching for answers. according to police, a man was hit by two vehicles after 6:00 a.m. while crossing alum rock avenue. we have bob redell on the scene this morning. he has more details on what is happening out there. bob, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, jon. we spoken with a local neighborhood group who does not think this was a fluke. thinks this latest fatality here at alum rock avenue is a symptom of the problems on the road. they are not surprised a person has been hit and killed. this is the third pedestrian to be hit and killed in east san jose. the ninth person when you take into account the entire city of east san jose. the man, that is all we know, was jay walking after 6:00 this morning while it was still dark out and most likely raining. he was attempting to cross alum rock and was 75 feet away from the nearest crosswalk when
